My mind is heavy with thoughts. She can sit on a rainbow and pop out skittles. Different scenes in my head would fast-forward, rewind, and even slow-mo like a Lebron James chase down block. Then I play it like a movie with commentary. The director talking about how this scene should have gone, the actors talking about what they liked about and didn’t like about it, and what was difficult for them. I release these thoughts like a pot head taking a hit. Nice and slow. I search for relief in basketball and working out. Pretty soon I’m gon get ripped like Robert. It helps sometimes when I’m too exhausted to think about anything and I feel accomplished because I played a good game. But I don’t play that well all the time and the critic in me blasts me about how I’m no good in basketball and the rest of life. Kawawa. I ignore it because I know better. Life is like basketball. You try your best to win, but you can’t win em all. There are no mistakes just lessons learned. My mind lightens as I pour my thoughts out and fill this page.
